The spectacular Museum is one of the few institutions in the Southwest with a substantial collection of Asian arts, and has also assembled small but select collections of Pre-Columbian and African art, as well as Classical, Egyptian, and Near Eastern Antiquities. Kimbell Art Museum is located in Fort Worth's famous Cultural District across from Will Rogers Memorial Center and Coliseum and within walking distance of the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth, Amon Carter Museum, and the Museum of Science and History.
