Southern Methodist University, popularly known as SMU, is a private university located in University Park, in Dallas.  SMU's athletics teams are known as the Mustangs and participate in the NCAA's Division I (I-A for football) as a member of Conference USA.

SMU Athletic and athletic-related facilities include Gerald J. Ford Stadium, Haggar Tennis Stadium, Loyd All-Sports Center, Heritage Hall, Moody Coliseum, Las Colinas Equestrian Center, Morrison Bell Track, Norbuck Park, Perkins Natatorium, Pettus Practice Field, Stadium Club, Salvino Strenth & Conditioning Center, Westcott Field, and White Rock Lake.

Southern Methodist University ( SMU ) is located in University Park in the heart of Dallas.  It is bound by U.S. Highway 75 (North Central Expressway) to the east, Hillcrest Avenue to the west, Mockingbird Lane to the south, and Daniel Avenue to the north.
